Nudibranchs of the West Coast
In this project I wanted to make illustrations of the wonderfully diverse forms of nudibranchs- sea slugs in the order Nudibranchia. These creatures are delicate and often somewhat transparent. I used many layers in photoshop to give depth and a sense of transparency.
The drawings were a composite of many photos and written sources. The rest of the painting was done in photoshop with a Wacom Cintiq.
